Temecula Valley Young Marines Seperate and count

over 1,559 DVDs,CDs and VHS Tapes

to support our troops and their familes during Operation DVD

 

The Temecula Valley Young Marines separated, categorized and boxed up over 1,559 DVDs, VHS tapes, and CDs . This feat was recently published on Military.com by AMVETS. The bulk of these movies and CDs came from the San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station in California (Read the  SONGS story here). The rest came from the Los Angeles based band Sandbox whose fans helped out the bands drummer by sending in or bringing  DVDs and CDs to their concerts (Read Scotty Kormos' letter here). The Young Marines have already made preparations to make liaison with a Marine Corps base family services.  The PG and G  rated  DVDs and VHS tapes will be given to the families of Marines and Sailors that are currently deployed. The Temecula Valley Young Marines to date,  have collected more than 1,648 DVDs, CDs and VHS tapes for Operation DVD. All of this is only made possible from corporations like SONGS, private citizens and  Young Marines... Keep on going .... Show our troops we really care !!
