TVYM Receives 80,000 DVDs
On August 10th, 2007 The Temecula Valley Young Marines received 80,000 DVDs from Time-Life , inc in Fairfax Virginia

. The DVDs were sent by Mrs. Susan Winslow and loaded onto a semi trailer Arranged by Mrs. Aimee Hiskett and shipped to the Temecula Valley Young Marines training center at Vail Lake
. The DVDs were offloaded by Commanding Officer Guiles, Young Marines Gunnery Sergeant Guiles and Staff Sergeant Guiles

. The rest of the unit was setting up for the silent auction dinner being held that night for a unit fundraiser. CO Guiles and the Young Marines were at Vail Lake from 0700 until 1430 un-loading the DVDs and loading them into the warehouse
. The DVDs will be categorized broken down in to shipping boxes and sent over to our deployed troops. The DVDs are being held at the training facility until they are ready to be moved to a permanent location. Young Marine Gunnery Sergeant Joshua Guiles was interviewed by the local news station Channel 27 while he helped guide CO Guiles who was driving the forklift into the warehouse spots
. CO Guiles was interviewed by Lorell Fleming from the Californian Newspaper. Young Marine Staff Sergeant Nicholas Guiles was busy setting the pallets of DVDs up towards the end of the tractor trailer for the CO to pick up with the forklift

The Temecula Valley Young Marines have taken over Operation DVD after working closely with its co-founders for the past year. The unit will be the primary focal point to and then sending DVDs out to the troops. If boxes are needed units should contact CO Guiles via email so they can be shipped to them. All DVDs will be sent back to CO Guiles at an address provided via a reply email. “This is a great way to support our troops and let them know we care about them” says Young Marine Gunnery Sergeant Joshua Guiles.
