A day of Unit Awards

            September 9th 2007, started off as any normal Sunday PT, drill day only today CO Guiles awarded Unit Certificates of Appreciation to Mrs. Donna Rivera, Mrs. Jacqueline Bill and Mrs. Tracy Masters Mrs. Bill, Mrs. Rivera And Mrs. Masters recieve awards from CO Guiles (Read their awards here). These three women have been charging hard on the units fundraising efforts for the past 6 months and have not stopped. They continually are coming up with new fundraising ideals to keep our unit running. Ooh-Rah ladies!!

            Later on in the afternoon just before the Company was dismissed by YM/SSgt. Guiles the CO awarded the following Young Marines with Community service, and Academic ribbons (several Young Marines were given gold lamps for their academic ribbons).

            The best was saved for last as CO Guiles called forth YM/LCpl. Jacob in front of the Company. YM/LCpl. Aguilar approached the CO, the CO then asked Young Marine Aguilar to do an about face and face the Company on YM/LCpl. Aguilars chest were hanging three Medals a Gold, Silver and Bronze, YM/LCpl Aguilar stands proud with his presidential medals in front of the unit. CO Guiles then read to the Company the award certificates given to YM/LCpl. Aguilar from the President of the United States CO Guiles reads off the Presidential physical fitness awards to YM/LCpl AguilarCO Guiles presents YM/LCpl Aguilar with the Presidents certificates and each medals significance.  A proud Young Marine showed off his certificates YM/LCpl Aguilar shows off his certificates, and and helped finish off our day again. Showing that our Young Marines have know bounds as they strive to positively improve themselves every day.  What another incredible day for our Young Marines Ooh-Rah!!! TVYM
