Mrs. Hilda Somoza ftom the American Red Cross presented the Unit with 2 awards from the , the CO & Mrs. Guiles along with Mrs. Aguilar and Mr. & Mrs. Rivera were on hand to receive the awards. The 2 awards were the "Purpose Award" (This award was given to the unit for collecting the greatest number of units of blood for new sponsors for the year of 2006). The Next award was the "Courage Award" (This award was given to our unit because we have had the greatest participation among eligible blood donors). The Awards look great and really tell the true story of how well our unit operates within it's community. Ooh-Rah Young Marines outstanding job what a great way to end 2006 with a couple of Awards from the community.

This year the Temecula Valley Young Marines participated tin the City's Chiristmas parde for their 3rd year this year the unit took Second place in the parade.
