As the Young Marines marched back up from the parade deck they were met by Mrs. Suzanne Hurtado and Mrs. Cynthia Simon-Arndt from the Naval Health Research Center. Mrs. Hurtado was and Mrs. Arndt were having our Young Marines take a Youth Survey and Young Marines Study. The Young Marine quickly took their chairs and sat down to take their survey , .

When the Young Marines finished they all settled in for chow with YM/MSgt Guiles and YM/SSgt. Vaughn having a little lunchtime fun with the Young Marines. Just as the Young Marines began to laugh and play their version of pictionary during lunch. Two special visitors drove in to pay a little visit to our Young Marines, the National Director Mr. Kessler and the National HQ's Training Director Mr. Adams. The pair drove down from Fresno from a California Regimental meeting. Mr. Kessler and Mr. Adams spent four hours with the Temecula Young Marines asking questions and enjoying conversations with the Young Marines , , , Also on hand for the day was Mr. Warren Hegg from the stories of Service project Mr. Hegg thanked the Young Marines for their help at the a recent event held at the Los Angeles VA by the Veterans Holiday Celebration, Inc.
