Fair Winds and Following Seas
On September 7th 2008, the Temecula Valley Young Marines said Fair Winds and Following Seas to their Training Officer Lt. Boudreau. Lt. Boudreau has been sent over to far off places with SEAL team 5. Lt. boudreau will be well missed and the Young Marines will be awaiting his safe return. During drill we had a nice normal drill. CO Guiles had a nice surprise for Lt. Boudreau his son Young Marine Tyler Boudreau was to be promoted to the rank of Corporal after Lt. Boudreau deployed. CO Guiles waived the waiting period and promoted his son early in front of the unit with Lt. Boudreau present

. as the Young Marines formed up for the end of the day CO Guiles asked the Senior Young Marines to rehearse the Navy Hymn. The Young Marines did just as the CO asked but YM/1stSgt. Guiles decided to add a little something extra. As YM/MSgt. Guiles marched the Young Marines out the, Company 1st Sgt. got them all into position. The Young Marines made the best ship they could by kneeling on the deck as a few Young Marines flapped their arms and acted like seagulls

. Then they sang "Anchors Aweigh"
. A befitting tribute to the Young Marine Training Officer. Lt. Boudreau also took a GI Joe donated by Young Marine MSgt. Guiles we named him YM/Lt. Davey (That would be for Davey Jones get it)
. Lt Boudreau has since sent us pictures back of YM/Lt. Davey which you can see on YM/Lt. Daveys Web page. Ooh-rah!! Lt. Boudreau we wish you a safe journey and await your return.
