Murrietta City Relay for Life setup 2009

It is that time again, time for the Relay for Life, our unit usually supports two Relay For Life Events back to back. On April 24th our Young Marines helped the Murrieta City Relay For Life teams setup their relay sites the day prior to the relay , , , , . After this is done the relay site is cleared out and the CO and the Security Force are locked in with orders not to let anyone in to the Relay site for the next 12 hours overnight , . The Next Morning the CO and the Security Force stay in the area as everyone arrives around 0600 to setup their areas. Our units color guard arrives at around 0800 to practice and get ready for to march on the colors for the National Anthem at 0900 , , , , , . The CO and the Color Guard departs around 0930, at 2200 the CO and the Security Force return to the Relay For Life area and provide security for the walkers , , . The Temecula Valley young Marines will be supporting the Temecula relay For life on May 16th and 17th at Great Oak High School.OOh Rah Young Marines you did an outstanding job, and OOh-Rah to the security force for staying awake and manning their posts.
