Around the Body Bowline

Around the Body Bowline: The Around the body bowline essentially this knot is an anchor knot. however it is used primarily for search and rescue operations or as a safety harness.

Tying it: This knot can be hard to tie but once you get the movements down it will be easy.

Anchor Applications:

Anchor: This knot can be used as an anchor point for rappelling or climbing once you get the knot down you can virtually tie this around any object. You can even incorporate this in to a tensionless knot.

Rescue: You can tie this knot around your chest above the breast line and a figure 8 at the other end. You can then be hoisted up with it the knot in front you and using the rope as a safety hold.

Safety: This is almost the same as the Rescue knot only you would turn the rope to have the knot on your back to allow free movement. the figure eight could be tied into another safety system.
