Marine Corps’ Birthday Celebration for the Community
235 proud years
On November 10th 2010, the Temecula Valley Young Marines will participate in the celebration of the Marine Corps Birthday. The unit has been asked to help out at the Ritchie's restaurant in Temecula to help celebrate the 235th birthday of the Untied States Marine Corps. The Young Marines will have some significant responsibilities as they always do when they help the restaurant celebrate the Marine Corps birthday. Young Marines will be responsible for opening the main door for the customers and welcoming them to the restaurant, as well as handing out Birthday cake, manning the POW/MIA table and colors. It is a big night for the restaurant who has also asked us to make a flier for a unit fundraiser at the same time. You can download the flier here, when you hand this flier into the restaurant the diner will donate 20% of your total check (before tax and tip) to the Temecula Valley Young Marines. So come watch your Young Marines hard at work and have dinner with them as well it is always a great time. The Guests of honor this year will be Col. Barney (USMC, Ret) Maj. General Reinke (USMC, Ret). The Young Marines will be helping out from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm, see You all there
