Greetings music lovers world wide. I hope everyone had the most excellent of Holidays! Even though Christmas has passed I urge you to keep the spirit of giving alive by helping me help the troops overseas. Yours truly has teamed up with OPERATION DVD-CD to assist in getting the U.S. troops some DVD's and CD's to entertain them while they are away from their families and serving their country. This effort is being spearheaded by the YOUNG MARINES of Temecula, CA. Regardless of how you feel about the war, we all can agree those troops over there are brave, honorable and worthy of a little help from us. So here's the deal. Dig up a CD or DVD you don't use anymore and send it on in. Most of us rip a CD to our iPods and it just sits there anyway.
We of course would love for you to by a new music release or DVD release and send it, but any CD or DVD in PLAYABLE condition is welcomed. We are NOT asking for money, just pop a CD or DVD in the mail and know you'll help the troops relax a bit.
Please pass this along and lets really make this thing a success. I want you to think about this, when you give something away, it makes room for something new and wonderful to replace it. I'd also like for you to know the only thing I personally get out of this is a great feeling!
I also urge all my musician friends with CD's out to donate a few, share your music!
