Since the Adjutant receives so many great articles for the Esprit magazine that are forwarded but unfortunately due to space never printed. The Commanding Officer has decided to make the Young Marines spotlight. We do not want any of those great articles to just be submitted and then go to waste. The CO will publish every article submitted to the Adjutant for publication on our virtual magazine. We hope you enjoy the Articles they are amazing and very well thought out. For anyone submitting an article to the Adjutant please remember these rules below when submitting articles:
- The Article must be at least 250 words long.
- Please ensure that any pictures you have for your article are submitted with the article but not embedded in the document.
- The Adjutant will do a final check on spelling, punctuation and grammar but if you take your time she will not have to do this.
- Integrity counts all articles must be accurate and honest.
- please ensure pictures are less than 1MB. (If you do not know how to change the image size contact the CO, he will tell you how).
- Articles will be accepted from other units the same standards as above will apply other units will have their own unit heading.
- All Articles must be reviewed by the Commanding Officer and evaluated if they will be added to the web site.
- Articles are limited due to space and to Young Marines, Young Marine Parents and siblings, Young Marine Staff and Military personnel affiliated with the Young Marines.
- Articles from outside sources may be posted with the Commanding Officers approval only.
- These articles in no way guarantee that you will be given a "Communications Ribbon".
Some Articles may be placed in the spotlight that have been previously published in the Young Marines Esprit Magazine. These articles will have the words published by their titles.
