TVYM Family Yard Sale

We have held our semi-annual multi family unit yard sale for the past 5 years … We usually have the yard sale in March / April and again in October/November It’s a chance for you to clean house, your neighbor’s house, your grandparent’s house…. And donate it to the unit. Everyone comes over the night before to deliver their donations to our home (we live off of Pechanga Pkwy where 40,000 cars go past every day!) We get up early (around 0530) in the next to set everything up and we start selling by around 0700. We usually make over $2500 in 2 days!  Anything left over is donated to a worthy cause like the Disabled Veterans or any organization(s) that our families request. This is another way we pay for our Unit Deployments, encampments, etc... The Unit Adjutant usually makes a shift list for the Yougn Marines and parents that volunteer to work at this event. So when the time comes pack up your old stuff and come out to help sell, Sell, Sell!!
