Teufel Hunden Riders

          In early 2009, Young Marine Sgt. Major Guiles came up with a fund raising idea that could benefit both the local unit and the National Headquarters. The idea was simple the Young Marine wanted to start a motorcycle riding club to help build unit Camaraderie and help raise positive attention and funds for the Young Marines organization. Young Marine Sgt. Major Guiles' has a dream to ride to the wall in Washington, DC but along the way he would like to pick up as many Young Marine Teufel Hunden riders as he can. The concept of the Teufel Hunden riders is to raise camaraderie and funds at the local unit level. While at the same time promoting good rising habits. Young Marine Sgt. Major Guiles contacted the National Executive Director. In October the National Director told Young Marine Sgt. Major Guiles to go for it. With certain stipulations:

      1. Rides do not take place on Drill Days nor do they replace normal Drill Days
      2. All riders ride at their own risk and must have their own insurance and valid drivers license. No one who is riding will be protected by the National Headquarters insurance policy.
      3. Be a Young Marine unit in good standing (i.e. Compliant with all invoices and Financial reports).
      4. The National HQ's has the right to shut a Teufel Hunden riders group down at any time.
      5. There is to be no discrimination among riders, bikes, or persons.
      6. You ride to have fun, build camaraderie and teach junior riders good riding habits. Everyone must remember that you represent the Young Marines organization at all times.

    The Teufel Hunden riders is a fun and easy way to build camaraderie between the Adult staff and other units as well as to raise funds at the same time. By holding ride rallies or just riding together. Local unit Local units can create their own web page and link them all together.

    Lets rev our engines and get ready to roll. It will be something to join Young Marine Sgt. Major Guiles in 2011, on his ride to the wall in Washington, DC. It will be something to see a thousand Young Marine Adult Leaders (aka Teufel Hunden riders) riding into Washington, DC
