City of Murrieta thank you

On June 7th 2008, The Temecula Valley Young Marines participated in the City of Murrieta's City wide cleanup, the Young Marines were given a huge task To complete. The Young Marines accomplished their mission in 4 hours and were able to get rid of 47 tons of debris the unit was led by Sgt. On June 7th 2008, The Temecula Valley Young Marines Adjutant was awarded the Divison 6 Volunteer of the Year award for the second time in row. Division 6 Comprises units in the states of Arizona, California, Washington, Oregon, and Idaho.

In April of 2004 the Temecula Valley Young Marines provided a community service support to a family of disabled persons, the City of Lake Elsinore was getting ready to give the family a citation if their property was not taken care of. With the help of Parent Volunteer Gary Nueberg the Temecula Valley Young Marines spent 12 hours landscaping, cleaning the outside of the home and painting the home.
