August 2005, TVYM informs the National HQ’s that the unit has collected 600 Cell Phones for CARE international.
August 2005, TVYM helps the 3 rd Battalion in it’s efforts to provide relief for those affected by Hurricane Katrina in “Operation Guardian Angel”.
August 2005, TVYM Conducts the “Fill-a-backpack campaign for underprivileged children.

October 2005, TVYM and the 3 rd Battalion end “Operation Guardian Angel” the unit helped collect $21,000 in 30 days to help the victims of Hurricane Katrina.

November 2005, TVYM Deploys to Washington, DC to help the National HQ in several high profile events. And to lay a wreath at the Tomb of the “Unknown Soldier”. The unit Deploys with 70 Young Marines and staff from the 3rd battalion (this is the first time the 3rd battalion has deployed).

February 20th, 2007 The unit supplied San Onofre Nuclear generating station with 12 boxes for Operation DVD.
March 1st, 2007 The unit deploys to Naval Amphib Base, Coronado, Ca to receive a class on the LCAC and utilize the US Navy's LCAC simulator.
March 9th, 2007 The unit volunteers at the Rancho Community church as security for their point of grace concert.

March 24th, 2007 The Commanding Officer Michael Guiles has started Operation Creative Minds, this Operation will be conducted every year and offers a $500.00 (529) college education plan to the Young marine who submits the most stories.
April 12th, 2007 The Temecula Valley Young Marines receive a thank you letter from the Rancho Damaciats Foster home for their service during a recent concert benefiting the foster home.
April14th, 2007 The Temecula Valley Young Marines, SONGS and Sandbox have collected 1,559 DVD's to send to the troops in Iraq and Afghanistan.

January 28th, 2008, The Temecula valley Young Marines receive a Letter of Appreciation from Congressman Darrell Issa for the units efforts in helping start up and supply the Volunteer Cadet Corps Australia with the essential elements to start a Young Marine unit in their Country.
February 13th, 2008, The Temecula Valley Young Marines hold a going away party for Sgt. Lingefelt one of their Instructors who will be deploying for his 3rd tour to Iraq.
February 16th, 2008, The Temecula Valley Young Marines were given a Letter of Appreciation from the Hangtown Young Marines for helping supply their Marine Cadets with the essential elements to conduct field training.

March 6th, 2008, The Temecula Valley Young Marines go to Hollywood to provide support for the farewell ceremony for Mr. Johnny Grant. The Young Marines escorted Generals, Dignitaries, Movie Stars and City Officials to their seats at the the pantages theater.
March 8th, 2008, The Temecula Valley Young Marines deploys to MCRD San Diego with the 3rd Battalion to watch the Marine Corps Silent Drill Team.
March 15th, 2008, The Temecula Valley Young Marines Continue "Operation Helping Hands" by handing 2,000 DVDs and CDs to the Marines of 1st Intel Battalion on board MCB, Camp Pendleton, California.
March 20th 2008, The unit continued "Operation DVD lift for the troops" packaged up 8 boxes of DVDs (2,040) for Operation DVD, they were delivered to MCAS Miramar by CO Guiles and will be flown by C-130 to Al Asaad in Iraq for the troops.
March 22nd, 2008, Recruit class 10-08 will be graduating 28 new recruits to become Young Marines, Temecula City's Mayor Mike Naggar will be speaking at the graduation.
April 4th, 2008, This Friday, April 4th is the Community Service Project @ Cornerstone Church for the Barlow Girls Concert. It’s a concert fundraiser for Rancho Damacitas.
April 5th, 6th, and 7th 2008, The Temecula Valley Young Marines Continue "Operation Helping Hands" by handing 6,000 DVDs and CDs to the Marines of 2/7 on board MCB, 29 Palms, California. at 0400.
April 6th 2008, The Temecula Valley Young Marines say farewell (for 7 months) to Cpl. Diaz as she heads off to Iraq, Along with Cpl. will be with the unit's honorary Young Marine. Young Marine Joe, Joe is is a GI Joe that will accompany Cpl. Diaz and the Marines of HMH-462 as they are deployed in Iraq. The unit will have an updated diary of his adventures in Iraq Young Marine Joe is there to be the units MWR Officer for HMH-462.

September 28th 2008, the Temecula Valley Young Marines send a small contingent of Young Marines to Miramar to provide a Color Guard for their Recruit graduation.
September 29th 2008, Young Marines 1st Sgt. Guiles and MSgt. Guiles packaged 1,200 DVDs, 1 DVD player (and 20 PS2 games donated by YM/MSgt. Guiles) to the troops and their Training Officer Lt. Boudreau with SEAL Team 5 in Iraq via C-130 as well as two former Young Marines.
September 30th 2008, 1,200 DVDs, 1 DVD player (and 20 PS2 games donated by YM/MSgt. Guiles) were deployed to Iraq for Operation DVD.

November 30th 2008, Operation Christmas Lift, The Temecula Valley Young Marines packaged and boxed over 2,500 DVDs for the units adopted Military personnel of Special Operations Task Force West (SOTF-W) Al Asad, Iraq and ACE VMGR-352, Al Asad Iraq. All of the Operation DVD boxes carry special Christmas items as well.
December 5th 2008, The Temecula Valley Young Marines take part in the City's Christmas parade.

Recruit Class 11-09 started up 9 weeks of learning and fun for 27 future Young Marines.

January 19th 2009, The Temecula Valley Young Marines deploy to the USS Midway to help Usher in the Stories of Service Project for the Young Marines.
February 4th and 5th 2009, the Temecula Valley Young Marines were at the 2009 Marine Corps expo helping the National HQ's at their booth.
February 7th 2009, The Temecula Valley Young Marines help the American Cancer Society kick off the Temecula Relay for Life.
February 9th,10th and 11th 2009, The Temecula Valley Young Marines Operation Helping Hands VII began when the Young Marines and staff handed out DVDs to the deploying Marines of 1/7 at MCB 29 Palms.
February 27th 2009, The Temecula Valley Young Marines present the colors at the Murrieta Little leagues opening day ceremonies and help ensure the Jumpers are safely being used.
February 28th 2009, The Temecula Valley Young Marines help kick off the Stories of Service project by interviewing Mr. Lucky Brugnola a Pearl Harbor and USS Shaw survivor.
March 20th, 2009, The Temecula Color Guard performed at the Veterans Musuem in Balboa park San Diego.
March 21st 2009, The Temecula Valley Young Marines after 9 straight weeks and 144.8 training hours graduated 25 brand new Recruits. The guidon for class 11-09 has been retired.
April 13th 2009, The national Headquarters announced that The temecula Valley Young marines have won the Division 6 Unit of The Year for 2007 to 2008. This is the units 3 time recieving this award.
April 18th 2009, CO, Guiles announced that the unit has recognized as the Division 6 Unit of the Year for 2007 - 2008, The units Training Officer returns from Iraq and presents the unit with a flag flown Camp Friewald.
April 19th 2009, The Unit participated in the Murrieta city's 62nd annual Fireman's Barbeque, the unit was allowed to Rappel down the wall of the city's Community center.
April 24th 2009, The unit supported the Murrieta Relay For Life with their pre walk setup, and al night security of their gear.
April 25th 2009, At 0900 the units Color Guard performed for the Murrieta RFL opening ceremonies. The Units Security Force provided overnight gate Security for the Murrieta Relay For Life.
April 26th 2009, The unit celebrated their 2nd annual Pie The CO in the face barbeque and fundraiser.
May 9th 2009, the Temecula Valley Young Marines split their unit and helped at two simultaneous community service events the Murrietta City Chili Cook off and Roy Rogers rangers.

December 20th 2009, The Temecula Valley Young Marines Color Guard presents the colors to 65,000 spectators at the San Diego Chargers and the Cincinnati Bengal's game. Young Marine 1st Sgt. Guiles helped make this event possible.
2010
January 10th 2010, The Temecula Valley Young Marines held participated in community service for the SASS' Roy Rogers Rangers.
January 17th 2010, The Temecula Valley Young Marines held their first encampment for 2010, the Young Marines hiked up Oak Mountain (4228ft) and camped out overnight for cold weather survival I classes.
January 27th & 28th, The Temecula Valley Young Mariens were asked for their support by the National Headquarters at this years Marine Expo West.
