Parent Volunteer of the year FAQ's

How a parent is chosen as Parent Volunteer of the year?

This is a year long process in which the staff members take notice of a Parents motivation, contributions to the

well being of the whole unit and their attitudes when they come to drill or special events. Believe it or not we have

who say things out of some frustration this is not tolerated in the unit and it does get back to the staff. This would be an

example of a bad attitude. The Staff and the Senior Young Marines, will chose who they think should be Parent Volunteer of the year.

remember one small act of generosity to the unit does not secure your position, the qualifying factors are taken in over the entire year.

Who chooses the Parent Volunteer of the year?
